The following are instructions to install and use the plug in for iPhoto on a Mac to upload images directly to the kids101-art website.
To upload files you need to be registered with kids101-art .
To join use the application form.
Installing the plugin
Before you can use this option for uploading images to kids101-art, your Mac needs to know where to send the pictures. This is done by a file called a Plugin that you will get from us. It's very simple to do. All you need to do is save it your Mac. You don't have to do anything else with it again once you have followed the instructions below but keep it on your Mac. Please keep it safe - it holds the address to the kids101-art gallery location for your images.
Please follow these instructions to get your Plugin.
1. Download the plugin package. DMG Plugin Installer
2. Open the downloaded file and open the file "CopperExport.pkg"
3. In the installation window click "Continue" to complete the installation of the plugin. When the package is installed close the installer.
Using the plugin
1. Open iPhoto and select the images you wish to upload to the gallery. Select from the menu File-> Export.
2. In the export window one of the options will be "Coppermine" - if it is not selected then click on the button "Coppermine".
3. Click on the "Change" button in the top center of the Export window.
Carefully enter the email address and password you use to access kids101-art - as emailed to you in your welcome email.
In the "URL" box put in "http://www.kids101-art.co.uk".
When done click on "OK".
4. In the export window click on the "Export" button.
A new window will open that allows you to either:
a) Choose an existing Album to add your photos to
or
b) Create a new Album by entering a name for the album in the box.
Once the required album is selected, or the new name put in then click on OK.
5. Your images will now be uploaded to the gallery.
6. You have now finished uploading your images to the gallery.
7. Once your images have been approved by the kids101-art team your new uploaded images and albums will be visible in the gallery.
