Students and Parents
  • You will receive and email containing your Username and Password - these have been created randomly to increase security.
  • Use the provided details to log into the site and access large images, favourites folders, ratings and comments.
  • You can use either the created username OR your email address to login.
  • Once logged in you can change your password by choosing "My Profile" from the right hand menu.


Teachers
  • You will receive an email containing your Username and Password - these have been created randomly to increase security.
  • You can use either the created username OR your email address to login.
  • Once logged in you can change your password by choosing "My Profile" from the right hand menu.
  • To get you started, we have created your first album which is waiting for you to load your images. You will find your album by clicking on the Login button on either the right hand menu under Gallery Menus or on the left hand menu under Information.
  • Once you login, the Gallery Menus will expand to show you the options for loading images and creating new albums.


Loading your first images

  • We have 5 upload methods detailed at http://www.kids101-art.co.uk/cu_upload.php
  • 3 of the 5 upload methods allow you to upload multiple files in one go. Making it easy to get hundreds of images online very quickly.
  • The 5th upload method just requires you to put a CD in the post to us along with a form you can print out from the site.
  • Each upload method has instructions with it to talk you through the process.
  • Your images will now be awaiting approval before being visible to the public on kids101-art. One of our Administrators will ensure that the images loaded are suitable for the Virtual Gallery and release them for viewing. This normally takes a few hours, so please be patient with us while we check that everything is OK.


Creating additional albums

  • Creating new albums is very easy. All you need to do is make sure that you are logged in to kids101-art. The Gallery Menus will display the additional menu choices when you are logged in.
  • Please select the first menu item "Create / order my albums". This will allow you to create additional albums and to place them in any order on the screen.
  • The next screen that you see is the Album Manager. You will see that the album that we have created for you is in the box. Press the New button to create a new album. In the box below the New button, text reading New album will appear. Please overtype the words New album with the name that you want for the album. Click on Apply modifications to begin creating your new album. You will be asked by the system to confirm the modification. Click on Yes to continue.
  • You will need to press Continue again to finish the process. Your screen may go back to the Schools menu. If it does, simply select the first menu item "Create / order my albums" again. You will now have two albums in the box.
  • Now when you Upload images, you will be given the choice of the additional albums to place your images.

Changing the order of your albums
  • Please select the first menu item "Create / order my albums". You will have at least two albums in the box on the screen. Select one of the albums by highlighting it with your mouse. You can now change the order of the albums by selecting or up or down arrows at the bottom of the box to promote or demote the album. This will change the order in which your albums appear on the screen.

Your sponsor's logo will be proudly displayed and linked with your school.
